For Community managers You can engage the expired members of your community by allowing them to have access to a few chatrooms and event rooms

1. For chatrooms

   • You need to select the chatroom, for which you want to give access to expired members.

   • On the top right corner click on the three dots, then click on the settings to change the chatroom setting.

   • Enable the “Accessible without subscription” setting.

     

2. For event rooms

   • While creating a new event on the CM dashboard, you can set up the user access for who can attend the event. Following are the options:
     • Non-members of the community (outside the community, including expired members)
     • Community members (active subscriptions and free members of your community)

For Users

1. For chatrooms

   • Users will be able to view and participate in the accessible chatrooms even when you membership has expired.

   • Users will need to renew their membership to view and participate in the non-accessible chatrooms.

     

2. For event rooms

   • Users can directly register for the events if the events are made for non-community members.

   • If the events are for community members only then the expired members have to pay the membership fee and then register for the event.
