You can customise the email that a member receives once they join the community. Here are the steps involved:

Go to CM dashboard

Click on the "Welcome email" on the left side menu

Click on edit to customise the email
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- "Reply-to" specifies who will get the email response when a community member replies to the welcome email. This field is non-editable and will have the email of the owner of the community.
- You can format the email however you like using the toolbar on the top of the "body" field
- You can edit the subject of the email.
- Here is a list of words that you will have to avoid to make sure that the email does not land in their spam/promotion folder.
